Casual as Fuck 1995/1996

After breezing through the 3rd division with quite a lot of ease the TCSL board decided that the Casuals FC should skip the 2nd division and go straight up to the first. This decision inspired me to part ways with some of our "lesser" players and start a second team up for their benefit. They didn't fare too well but the ist team took up the baton and carried on as we left off the previous season.
Up with the big boys we held our own and enjoyed the stiffer competition. Our closest rivals the CSC76 Challengers may have knocked us out of the cup in the semi finals but we certainly had it over them in the league. We beat them 3-2 at their place despite having four of our players sent off and drew with them at our. For the record I scored 3 in two games against them which played a big part in our championship win.
My old mate Shocker was out here from Manchester for the season and won Player of the Year, Jimmy's Rolland and Northam were brilliant, Brian Collins banged goals in for fun and Davie Allan was an animal as usual as we went unbeaten in the league for the second year in a row.
