Casual as Fuck 1998/1999

Our 4th season on the TCSL and after seeing our recent success the Crown and Anchor decided to jump onto the bandwagon and sponsor us.
We went unbeaten again in the league and cup winning every single game along the way and I would go as far to say that season was probably the easiest one yet, we really brushed everyone aside. New signings included Joe Henderson, Norbert Hirsch the Nazi goalkeeper and the ever notorious Todd (Guido) Lewis.
Midfielder Dave Allan actually finished up as top scorer closely followed by Joe, Andy Rolland and Chris McGinty.
I was actually disappointed by league format this season, a bigger 1st division meant that we only got to play each team once
This was also the year Joe and I decided to start up the annual New Years Day England v Scotland game for our locals and players out of the TCSL, it has been a good success over the years and a great excuse to go on the piss while nursing a hangover from the night before.
