Casual as Fuck 2004/2005

After a two year hiatus I was invited to come back and play for the aging Casuals FC team by Joe. I had never played in the 2nd division with the Casuals so I eagerly accepted, despite the fact that the team now played in red (spits).
The squad was basically made up of old first team players with a few new faces thrown in for good measure. It felt strange not being in charge of the team, but without that added pressure it was a pretty enjoyable season. We went on to win the championship which was nice as it was the only piece silverware the Casuals never won under my management as we made the jump from the 3rd division straight up to the 1st where we dominated for years.
Another bonus was that our closest rivals were that knob Tim O'Donovan's Celtic team. We beat them twice although he tried his usual tactics of changing venues at the last minute and showing up wearing the same colours that we wore. The Celtics wore green all year but when they played us he showed up with an identical red kit to ours. He really is an odious little toerag and simply could never get over the fact this his teams could never beat the Casuals.
Oh well, success breeds comtempt, he's still a knob though.
I managed to score a couple of goals that season and set up the last ever Casuals FC goal when I took a quick free kick, knocking the ball for Casual legend Dave Allan to put one past Leonardo in the Celtic net.
